We view our children as God’s covenant children. And we know Jesus loved to have children come to him during his ministry on earth. So, our desire is that our service would minister to people of all ages and we welcome families with young children! Our pastor shares a children’s message during the regular service. Children will also receive a coloring page and children’s bulletin that are relevant to the sermon of the day. We also provide a room where parents can take young children during the service if they need to leave the main area.
Nursery: A nursery is offered during the entire service and staffed by two volunteers.
Sunday School: We have our children’s Sunday school for children 3 years old and above. During this time we look at a Bible story, memorize Scripture, and create a craft as we help our children to understand the Bible’s big story of redemption through Christ.
We take seriously our responsibility to lovingly protect the children who participate in nursery. All of our children’s ministry volunteers complete a Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check and obtain Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearances, both of which are renewed every five years.
